  2. No 12 colums?

  3. Cool ! 😍

  4. How you can cut the circle ⭕ for board?

  5. Flux Academy tutorial always good & more effective & this design really awesome…thanks @Maddy Beard

  6. Great stuff! One thing I always recommend to save time is working with a type scale. Any scale. Top of your head sizes like 14, 19, 24, 48, 96 etc. or go 1.6x base size if you want to be specific. It can easily cut down the time you need to type set in a layout.

  7. In the starting, at around 6:12 , you said you are being picky but actually you are not. I wasn't designing side by side but was observing what you do, and when you increased the font size, I too was like the spacing is too much, please reduce it, and bam you did that too xD

I guess we Designers think alike 😁

  8. How would I contact you if I wanted you to do some work for me?

  9. Very nice, I am a bout to start learn Figma, this inspires me even more 👍

  10. I was designing websites over 20 years ago, we literally designed each page in Photopshop, building buttons and button states in Image Ready, exporting it all out as sliced graphics (heavily optimised for slower internet speeds) and then recompiled with Dreamweaver in a WYSIWYG environment, learning the code as went along.
It was soooooooo much work compared to these new tools. I've not done any webdesign since around 2005 but may just dip my toe back in the water with some of these new tools as they simply look like page layout apps (Indesign stylee).

  11. You did a wonderful job. 🙂

  12. Awesome! What software do you use for screen cast/recoding?

  13. Thanks for this

  14. can someone please help break down the last part of the video where Maddy was trying to create a transition using a mask and shape? i have spent like an hour trying to recreate it and the thing seems to break every time. Helppp

  15. Wow. What a beast! Well done. Commentary was pretty funny too.

  16. Maddie, this is awesome, really good tips and ideas for designing websites. Keep bringing more of these, please. It’s very useful!😊

  17. My type

  18. This was great! More please (even if they are longer!!)

  19. I'm learning to design these, and this kind of videos is so interesting to watch 🙌🏻

  20. Good morning thanks

  21. Amazing job! Love your chaotic “okay!” When it came to putting the yellow circular transition half way down the page 😅

  22. Reviewing the brief should be included in your 30…haha just trolling

  23. I always tell myself "you design what a website 'can' be. Not what it should be." Give people something they don't expect. Making the experience a memorable one. Because of this it takes me around an hour to even design 1 section. Doing a whole page in 30mins! 🤯

  24. Need your amazing course 🚀

  25. Good work! 👏

  26. Perfect format of video ! I love the design (you only had 30 minutes !) particularly the form, the round and yellow background highlights it, it's great ! ❤
