My family(parents and siblings) are pushing me to get to the college for master degree. Spend money there and you will make connection by doing fellowship jobs during college period. I had my bachelor in finance degree from my foreign country four years back. Now I am in US. What do u think if I pursue my IT goal on Courseera instead of spending time and money at college? Because I see technology has optismistic future for job applicants. I want that reality answer.

I have had the IBM Data Analyst Professional Certificate saved in my Coursera list for several months now and after watching this video I see there is an IBM Data Scientist Professional Certificate course that is only one month longer to complete. Five months verses four months. I work as a support Engineer, so I have a lot of Excel experience and I sort a lot of data for my department, I'm just not a "trained" Data Analyst." Would it be worth it to do the Data Scientist Certificate and skip the Data Analyst? Looking for some advice. Thanks.

Can confirm: Google IT Support Cert definitely helped me get two entry level IT jobs. Now I am about to take Security+, and I'm doing Tier II.

If many of these only take a few months, then it might be possible to take them in parallel, but the focus might fall. Maybe get the project management, data analytics, cybersecurity (Google) to be an all around IT professional. Assuming they already have years of experience in IT like I do. I’m more for the cybersecurity by Google but noticed you didn’t have that here. Is that one you don’t recommend?
