June 30, 2024 2024-06-30 15:28InDesign for Beginners | FREE COURSE
In this course, InDesign for Beginners, you are going to learn how to use Adobe InDesign. This course is for beginners. You don’t need any previous knowledge in InDesign, graphic design, or desktop publishing. We’ll start right at the beginning, working our way through step by step. Together, we’ll make a four-page brochure, learning the tools and techniques necessary to design it and print it professionally. We’ll work with color, picking our own and using corporate colors. We’ll explore how to choose and use fonts like a pro. We’ll find, resize, and crop images. So, if you’ve never opened InDesign before, or you’ve opened it and struggled, join this course and I’ll show you the easy way to make beautiful design work in Adobe InDesign.
The source files contain the examples and projects presented in the course videos. Use them to work alongside the instructor and even share the results in the Envato forums.

I did it! And I am so exited! Thanks galore for the great tutorial. It was my first contact with InDesign and it was so easy because of the way you teach. Congrats! <3

@MarcDierickx-zm9fv
Hello from Belgium, with only one question: will there be updates of these courses to be compatible with the newest version of for example Adobe InDesign? Best regards, Marc D.
@sammyquaye9564

@jockwishart
This course is as we say in Scotland " The berries"
@josejimenezvega
I'm at the image part of this course and so far it's been incredibly helpful. In my case I'm an Adobe user that never used In Design before. Some parts would sound "obvious" for Adobe users however coming back to refresh those little things, adds a lot of value as well. I'm totally in with this course and would highly recommend to watch and save in your favorites.
@candace.taylor
Thanks so much for awesome this tutorial. I found it really easy to follow along without feeling overwhelmed which you can sometimes feel in a classroom setting when you need a bit of time to digest what is being said or shown.

Printers will impose on standard sizes SRA3 and SRA2. There other sheet sizes (like a B1, web (630/880mm reels) and also cutstar. But just depends on the plantlist and your requirements) 🙂
@LeeGraphics-313

I have an interview for a job in marketing next week that'll feature a practical element requiring the use of indesign. I, having never touched the software before, was crapping myself. After following this tutorial I'm now pretty confident that I'll nail the interview. Thanks my dude!
@riham1826
It’s not just a tutorial, it’s a dramatic theatrical acting tutorial 😂😂😂😂
@scottlennox5202
So well done. Such a fun and informative class for all skill levels. As someone who has used Adobe and Office products for 25 years, I still learned a lot. Amazing instructor. I'll be looking forward to more content!
@JenniferTurner-mb3fh
I learned InDesign from this video 2 years ago and keep coming back for refresher and more detail. I am a long experienced designer, artist and illustrator, but “old school” and needed to learn InDesign when I took on work for a not-for-profit arts festival in Scotland. Now do an annual 52 page program and all the website and SM content with ease thanks to Dan Scott. Thank you Dan.
@akshaykorlekar

Thank you, Dan for an amazing tutorial. This was super useful for someone who is using ID the the first time. I feel soooooo confident and accomplished when I saved and opened the finished exercise design PDF!
