@MultiSciGeek
What's the url of the stand with Ukraine website? I wanna check it out, but there's like 100 of these.
@MultiSciGeek
I would love to learn more about workflow – specifically how to sketch/draft, prepare a colour pallet and the look of the app, how to organize the functionality (the needs of an app) into proper segments, boxes, grids. Basically I'm very good at the "low level" design, the actual designing – but absolutely stuck at brainstorming and the overall barebones.
@MultiSciGeek
Unable to download your free guide. Put my email and all, still did not get it.
@thatQiao
The part 1 link in the description is invalid.
@Kingside88
Amazing explanation. I wish you would also provide another methods of scaling not only scroll down.
@blasteriroquai
most of modern layouts especially of iPhone/Apple are meaningless. That have no information. It is all about the rules of creation but are weak of information. In that case it is more source of information what is Pantone doing. Even if it looks not attractive.
@d3.finance
Great videos thank you!
@kuroiryu1509
I appreciate these principles of artistic design, but I also think that the internet got a lot worse when web pages became art instead of information. That slog through the iPhone site was a great example of excessive art that doesn't tell me anything I'd be looking for.
Not that I want to go back to the ugly 90's web either, but somewhere between then and now, we crossed a line and need to turn around.

Quick q: does the Stand with Ukraine website employ the use of a grid? thank you ! I love your content.π
@emerlander
That was very useful. Thank you!
@fizakhatri6505
Matt is amazing! Thank you, it helped a lot.
@mininusequeci
Great!
@TheThinkersBible
Another masterpiece. You discuss grouping, scale and sequence in a depth I've never seen in a design tutorial video before. Thanks a million.
@jerryhunter1114
I've been thrown into motion design at work for a while now and these videos are really helping me navigate through it. I feel much more informed and so much less lost since watching these. thank you!
@masterloot
Where is part 1. cant find it.
@JayJay-ki4mi
I'm going to share a tip that has stuck with me most of my life, and nobody told me this I just discovered it naturally because of the work I've done in the past. I started life as a copywriter, and moved into web development in the early 2000's. I design landing pages and product pages. What works best for me is to first have the copy written out in textual form, in the form of a sales letter. This then becomes the content for the landing page (or homepage). I break up each section of the sales letter into sperate blocks that are grouped together based on the context of that block. I get creative with each block of content. If you look at the Apple page for the iPhone that IS a sales letter, but in a different modern form. Apple are one of the few companies that does this very well. You must start with the content, and the content must be great. You can't do it the other way around. The content complements the design and vice versa, and the goal is to give the user all the information they need, as quickly as possible, while catching their eye and wow'ing them. That's an instant sale.
@ilh86
Do you "designer" types actually use these websites? Nothing worse than the style of sites in your examples. Give me the bloody information instead of forcing me to have to sift through garbage layouts having to look all over the screen for what I'm trying to read with pointless layers of elements scrolling at different rates and massive images that serve no purpose other than a "focal point" for something I'm not interested in.
@michaelmironenko455
It's always easy when you have a website with a menu title image and the button. The problems starts when you have to arrange a dozen small elements in the limited space of the phone screen. This is where the pain comes. So, it would be nice to explain layouts with a phone screens and real working apps.
@Nae-rm7uj
The link to part 1 doesn't seem to work!
@davegarcia2525
Thank you, for all the parts of this content " Principle of Layout " I've learned a lot here.
@simonepagnini6735
Excellent content! Thanx!
@krupaengineer9909
Hello Matt I love the rest of the videos and I have learned a lot. I seem to have an issue with the sequence part. It's still a little hard for me to understand your point. My take away was it being harmony and story telling but apart from that is there anything which will simplify sequence for me better ?
